Part:1
Tuesday: Catriona leaned back to view her work, the expression on her creation was so deep, bordering on brooding! Her Naga 'Rayze' sits semi reclining watching her also as she wonders what would he be thinking! He is perfection in his form, well-muscled with beautiful flowing hair that almost seems to come alive! She had named him months ago when his features took on definition. A beautiful fantasy creature known as the Naga! In Mythology they are primarily serpent-beings living under the sea. Water symbolizes primordial wisdom and in psychoanalysis, the storehouse that is the unconscious mind.

It was hard not to ponder on the sculpture's thoughts if he were real! What wisdom he would impart and how he would live in her world! Cat leaned back to ponder all these things with her work and life. Had she finished or was there more she could add to her work?

It was quiet in the domed Atrium as she stood on the ladder in thought. It was also growing dark outside and she would soon have to stop work for the day. Cat was loathe to leave though, having become very attached to this work. There were too many thoughts and dreams at night now that he was so real to look upon!

Cat sighed putting her tools down thinking she should just clean up and go to her rooms within the mansion. She needed food and drink then rest, knowing it would be awaiting her. Such was the benefit of working in your own home! Cat reached out to touch her Naga's hand whispering good night as she silently climbed down the ladder, before heading up to her rooms to clean up then enjoy some dinner.

As Cat was enjoying her shower she wondered what her Naga would think of her if he were real? Could they even have a life together? Was it even possible for such mythical creatures to love and mate with mere humans? She wished it were possible! She sighed thinking she'd never know.

When Cat finished her shower she popped on a robe and went to find her still warm dinner with a glass of wine, she settled herself on one of the couches to eat. She didn't feel like watching any television so put some music instead, she loved Enigma, with their haunting tunes and leaned back on the couch with wine closing her eyes to enjoy for a while.

She woke later realizing she had dozed off, having put the music onto repeat! She placed her glass on the tray before finally turning off the music and climbing into her rather large four poster bed. The soft covers felt so cozy after another long day working on her Naga! She happily let sleep take her hoping she'd dream of her very own living Naga mate.

As she slept her very own Naga was awakening on the floor below! Rayze stretched with a shake, flexing muscles and his body. Rayze pulled Cat up, holding her gently on his lap as he watched her thoughts, emotions and body take in that he was indeed very real and would be hers if she accepted him!

Rayze chuckled "I fear it is more 'love' Catriona, watching you everyday as you work around me, wanting to touch you, talk to you, make love to you and make you mine for all time. Cat now chuckled "Yes I would have and I'm glad you didn't, I just might have had a slight accident on the ladder!"

He lay her back down pulling covers up, moving with her and around her, he chuckled as he read her thoughts about how would they ever make love?

Cat looked up "What?" Rayze smiled "The same as any other couples Cat!"

Cat groaned burying her face in his chest! Raze pulled her up, sitting up again as he kissed her soundly, Cat went limp lost in the passion of the kiss leaving her breathless! Rayze added "Before you worry, know that I am content to live here with you my love and I know that your staff will be very happy to know that you are well loved now!"

Cat gasped "How would they? They do not know you?"

He smiled as Cat put two and two together, realizing that they would have known something would happen as they had also shown a strong interest in her work; none ever thinking it strange.

Now that she thought about it she realized they had known in their own minds what the future held for their mistress but were content to let it play out as it had.

Rayze smiled as he listened to her thoughts as she put it all together, accepting that time also had to pan out as it had for her to come to terms with her own emotional feelings towards her work thus be so accepting of the real Rayze, when he felt it right to finally reveal himself and claim her.

He traced her cheek drawing her thoughts back to him and said "Should you desire my love, we may make this a more formal commitment as humans do? I am more than happy knowing our families and friends would also enjoy seeing us so joined."
Cat smiled "I would like that too, Rayze. Would we have it here?"

Rayze smiled and with a kiss said "We will my love, it would please me and my family once they see your beautiful sculpture of me!"

Cat smiled "So I will now meet your family here when you are happy to have our ceremony?"

Rayze chuckled "You will my love, though I am in no hurry for that right now; I desire time alone with my mate for a while! She has been far too busy sculpting my image and I mean to have her take a rest!!"

Cat laughed softly "I have my heart, but you know I have loved every minute I spent with you there! And I shall love the rest of my life with you here now. Thank you for waiting Rayze even though you knew how much I felt for you as the sculpture!"

Rayze smiled "My love, you will always be welcome and yes I knew but had to wait. I hated doing so knowing how you felt, that you felt so alone with so much love to give. That for me was hard, wanting to hold you, reassure you and love you so! I had to wait as I enjoyed you working and talking to me, wanting to answer you at times also."

Cat smiled remembering those one way conversations she had, as she had worked on her sculpture wishing he could answer her. She felt Rayze's emotions as she subconsciously stroked his chest enjoying the texture of his skin.

Raze watched her with a smile, enjoying her thoughts and happy that she felt so relaxed with all that had come to pass so suddenly for her. Rayze felt a sense of pride that his mate was so talented, loving now she was his.

He knew his family would approve and love her too, knowing Cat would be put at ease also meeting others who had mated with humans to create new families. Rayze smiled thinking of his soon to be family with Cat hoping she would like children.
Cat looked up finding Rayze deep in thought, though smiling away as she probed him to find his thoughts on their having children now!

She chuckled "Yes Rayze I would love to have a family with you! We have a huge home that would enjoy the sound of little ones running around. I'm sure the staff would also enjoy having little ones around once more."

Rayze laughed "Thank you my love, I'm sure they will, as will our own parents and siblings. I know my own mother has often reminded me I am not getting any younger!"

Cat chuckled "As does mine. Along with complaints that I shut myself off by my art, never socializing! I'm so over it, I love my art, I love my creative side and if it means being on my own so be it. Besides I can't work with family around!"

Rayze laughed hugging her agreeing that family could be somewhat stifling at times!!

He added "But we love them as they do us, so we have to accept their need to nurture us still even as adults!"

Cat agreed "Yes Rayze, another reason I chose to live here when my Gran left this to me, I had the need to break away, distance myself and my love life was pretty non-existent. I can get lost in my art and the staff are wonderful in leaving me alone, though do ensure that I eat and drink!!"

Rayze laughed "As they should my love and so shall I! I can also assure you, that you will not be putting in the long hours now! There is no need as I will be wearing you out every day, so you need to schedule in a set amount of time for your art as I will for my business. And yes I do work in the Corporate field. The family own several businesses, large corporations in several countries, though I choose to be based here in Scotland. The Highlands are perfect for just being me as you are finding here. I can work from home and if I have to travel you will be coming with me, I will accept no argument there!"

Cat smiled "None given my heart, I will welcome time away from my art now, I have a reason; a love to do so!"

He chuckled "Yes you do but now my love we have spent long enough talking and you will be quite tired tomorrow! I will desire my mate in the morning and she WILL be too exhausted for working!!"
She laughed "Yes I somehow guessed that Rayze, but I will enjoy and we will brighten the staff's day by being around I am sure!!"

Rayze stopped any further talk with a breathless kiss and hug easing them both down onto the bed, before pulling the covers up. Rayze held her snug against his body letting it resume his Naga form to gently wrap around Cat enjoying her contented sigh as she in turn snuggled into Rayze.

Cat whispered "I love you Rayze, my heart, always and ever."

Rayze smiled "As I love you Catriona, always and ever dear one, now sleep my love!"

She chuckled softly and let herself slowly drift off, finally content after being alone for so long. Rayze felt her emotions, hugging her just a little bit tighter as she sighed in her sleep, he knew he would always remind her of how much he loved her as they enjoyed a very long life together.
